Account Manager - Commercial Lines, Property & Casualty

Job Description: As an Account Manager for our Commercial Lines division, you will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with our smaller commercial clients. You will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring clients have the coverage they need to protect their businesses.


  • Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of smaller-sized commercial clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique insurance needs and providing timely, proactive assistance.
  • Policy Administration: Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and new business applications accurately and efficiently.
  • Coverage Analysis: Review client policies to ensure appropriate coverage levels, identify gaps, and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
  • Quoting and Market Analysis: Obtain quotes from insurance carriers, compare coverage options, and present the best recommendations to clients.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all client files and documentation are accurate, complete, and in compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our sales team, underwriters, and other departments to deliver seamless service to clients.


  • Insurance Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, with a strong understanding of commercial lines.
  • License: Hold a valid California insurance license
  • Proficient with Applied EPIC software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced with national admitted carriers and portals (Hartford, Markel, Liberty, etc.)
  • Client-Focused: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building lasting client relationships.
  • Organized: Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Analytical: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze policies and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact confidently with clients, insurance carriers and teammates.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to work closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Salary range: 40K-80K – based on qualifications & experience.
