All You Can Eat Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and that means lots of turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes and gravy. I don’t know about you, but I personally find it so frustrating when I do not get around to trying all the dishes because I am already stuffed to the brim after one plate. So, here are some tips and tricks to help you maximize your eating this Thanksgiving holiday:

  1. Drink water

Be sure to stay hydrated throughout the day because it will keep your stomach stretched and ready to take in more food.

  1. Don’t starve yourself

While this seems like a logical solution, this in fact is not the way to go. The size of your stomach will shrink and as a result you will not be able to eat as much as you want. It is a good idea to stop eating about four hours before your Thanksgiving meal to give your body time to digest.

  1. Exercise

Not only will this burn some calories in preparation for your Thanksgiving meal, but this will also help to increase your appetite.

  1. Don’t drink your calories

Drinking soda or other calorie heavy beverages will take up “belly space” and make you feel full faster.

  1. Dress appropriately

Wearing loose fitting clothes will allow you to be comfortable as you indulge in your Thanksgiving meal.
